Biomedical Instrumentation
ISS biomedical instrumentation is presently utilized for research only.
ISS tissue oximeters are utilized whenever the absolute oxygenation level of the tissue is required (versus the relative level) and in all the instances when the pulse oximeter cannot be utilized (as in peripheral vascular disease; or for monitoring brain oxygenation in premature babies).
| OxiplexTS™, Near-Infrared Non-Invasive Tissue Oximeter |
Imagent™ is capable of mapping fast signals originating upon activation of selected brain areas.
| Imagent™, Functional Brain Imaging System |
